At Wonder Paws we believe its better to "BUILD-UP a puppy than FIX a dog" so we place huge emphasis on early socialisation & FUN training using 100% positive reward training at our puppy training courses & play groups at Festina Lente Foundation in Bray.

Our experienced, friendly and dedicated trainers will guide you and the whole family through the challenging early weeks & months of puppyhood with clear, hands-on instruction in class and dedicated teaching material and homework sheets throughout the course. PUPPY SOCIALS - WEEKLY (45mins)
At our fun Puppy Socials, your puppy gets the vital socialisation they need early in their development - they learn to communicate properly with other pups and humans in a safe environment supervised by Wonder Paws trainers. Critically "bite inhibition" is also established during this key period up to 16 weeks which helps your puppy develop a "soft mouth".
Your puppy will also get the opportunity to be exposed to novel sights, sounds and start building the foundations of off-leash training - recall from play, invisible-leashing etc
Your puppy will receive lots of positive praise, handling, affection and delicious treats. This cements the association between these early new socialisation experiences and receiving so much positive attention…. it’s a WIN! WIN! for your puppy.

A Super Start for your Puppy!! Start training your puppy before problems develop. Our 5-week basic obedience and socialisation course is a wonderful way to bond with your puppy and successfully integrate them into family life and the human world beyond!

TEEN PAWS 5-WEEK TRAINING & SOCIALISATION COURSE​ - €139
With the same curriculum as Little Paws, this 5-week basic obedience course welcomes slightly older, dog-friendly puppies who have had no previous formal training and would benefit from learning the basics and enjoying off-leash socialisation! Helps owners deepen the bond and develop clear communication with their older puppy.

​WONDER PAWS PUPPY OB-ILITY
Level 2 INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE + INTRO TO AGILITY + TRICKS

This 4-week course combines agility, tricks and obedience in a novel and fun way. This intermediate level class is a continuation class for pups that have completed a Wonder Paws Puppy course or equivalent basic puppy course.
Content:
- Developing and progressing behaviours learned at Level 1
- Agility Equipment: Jumps, Tunnels, Tables / Platforms (your dog will stand on)
- Pivoting to heel
- Sending dogs around objects
- Tricks: stick 'em up, handstand
- Urban Agility: turning a dog walk into a challenge!
Course Goal:
- Functional training
- Skill sharpening for owners and developing independent thinking and learning for your puppy
- Improving mechanics and timing through clicker training
- Introducing capturing and self-rewarding training

PUPPY AGILITY COURSE - Foundation & Active Balance Training

Our NEW Active Balance Canine Equipment provides a technique for training young puppies in safe, new, fun things to do. It engages puppies in non-concussive controlled activities which promotes muscle development without causing trauma to juvenile joints and bones.
Specific exercises and techniques allow dogs to engage in safe low impact activities.
