The Grooming Shed at Wonder Paws in Festina Lente Gardens, Bray, is a purpose-built, bespoke grooming service for your beloved pooch, and puppies are a speciality of course!  Our qualified, experienced groomers are passionate about giving your dog the best possible experience whilst in our care.  In line with our dog training school, our ethos and low-stress handling techniques are 100% positive, gentle and compassionate.  Doggie treats and cuddles are given in abundance!  !  

Our belief is to never rush your beloved dog through the grooming process, but rather ensure it's a positive, calm and non- stressful experience.  We get to know each dog as an individual because we want your dog to actively enjoy the grooming experience.  Therefore please be patient if your dog’s appointment takes a little longer on occasion as we will NOT rush your dogs appointment if rushing causes increased stress.

We ensure all dogs get fresh drinking water and frequent toilet breaks in our lovely enclosed garden.  Our large toy box contains an exciting variety of toys for your dog’s enjoyment.  Your dogs’ happiness and comfort is our No.1 priority.

The Personal Touch

At your dogs initial grooming appointment we will discuss your dogs individual coat condition and requirements, any health issues that your dog may have, their likes and dislikes and any other concerns that you may have about your dog’s treatment whilst in our care.  We keep these records about your pet so that we can give a truly personal service.

Our Products

At the Grooming Shed we are committed to being truly ethical and "Cruelty-Free" not only in our stress-free handling and care but also in the shampoo/mist products we use on our gorgeous client pooches. Our ethical supplier HOWND make great grooming products for pets and don’t need to do any animal experiments to prove this. We are confident we can use their product range with the peace of mind that no animal testing has been done on either the final products or the individual raw materials that go into creating their quality formulas.  Our experienced groomers will analyse your dog’s coat type and skin condition during your dog’s initial visit, to insure that the best type of products are used.  This can help to relieve any skin or coat conditions that your dog may be suffering from.  We can also give tips on improving the condition of your dog’s skin or coat in between appointments.

Clean & hygienic facilities

We understand how important an hygienic environment is for the welfare of your dog and for the prevention of disease and parasites. This is why we disinfect and treat floors, counters, grooming tables and tools regularly during the day.
